Capital Campaign
Out of the basement and onto the streets!
Who we are
Saskatoon Sexual Health is a non-profit organization that provides sexual and reproductive health services and education in Saskatoon and area. For 44 years, we have been and continue to be pro-choice, sex-positive and inclusive.

The challenge
Saskatchewan has the nation's highest rates of HIV and unintended pregnancies, and epidemic rates of sexually transmitted infections. As demand for our services continues to grow, we’ve reached capacity and are unfortunately turning away 15% of clients seeking services. In addition, our current basement space is difficult to find and not accessible to people of all abilities.

The solution
We have an amazing opportunity to move into a shared community hub in Riversdale with our friends at OUT Saskatoon. For clients, this means an expanded one-stop-shop for health services and resources in an accessible and safe place. For SSH and OUT, this means greater collaboration and cost-sharing.

We believe this is an important time to step up our visibility in the community. To fund this next step, Saskatoon Sexual Health is raising $50,000 to pay for the relocation, renovations, and leaseholder agreements.

Beyond clients who visit the clinic, others meet us in classrooms and informal learning spaces for accurate, non-judgemental information.
-
We meet others out in the community, whether we're offering STI testing at the library or tabling at the farmers market.
-
Countless others utilize our always free and fun condoms, which we regular distribute to bars and businesses in the area.
